Testimonials
John has been supporting my brother for many months now at a nursing home in Parramatta spending quality time with him, talking, playing board and card games, which my brother enjoys .
John also takes him for walks across to a park where they sit and play cards and watch the cricket for a few hours.
John also supports me on visits as it can be hard at times with my brother’s behaviours. John also keeps me informed on each visit with photos.
John is a deeply passionate, caring, patient and consistent carer, giving personalised, flexible care to my brother, myself, and my family.
We highly recommend John at Cura Care Services – he is a true gentleman. Thank you John.
John has been my husband’s support buddy for several months. He was recommended to us by our case worker at Dementia Australia. John is very friendly and caring and nothing is too much trouble. Philip and John get on very well, which is wonderful for me to see, as I feel confident when I am at work that Philip is in safe hands. Philip looks forward to his outings with John, they always have a laugh and a good chat and Philip is so animated when I get home, telling me about his day with John.
John always sends me a picture and text through the day, keeping me updated as to what they are doing. I am so glad that John was recommended to us as he has brought joy to Philip and he inspires confidence in him too, which is great to see in someone with dementia. John really listens to Philip and always asks what he would like to do. Philip and I highly recommend John, he is a kind, caring and compassionate person.
John and his team of carers from Cura Care Services has been providing care, residential, as well as in home car for my husband for the last six months. My husband suffers advanced dementia and Cura Care was recommended to us by Dementia Australia. This was during a time when I needed urgent respite care due to a house move.
John was able to organise residential care with very little notice. The care my husband received during his 3-day respite was fantastic. The care facility resembles more an English country estate rather than a care facility. John and his team provided me with daily updates and photos regarding my husband’s wellbeing. It was very obvious that my husband thoroughly enjoyed his stay.
Since then, John and his team have commenced in-home care for my husband twice a week, covering all aspects of care including personal care, doctor’s visits, and anything else that needs to be done, as well as providing a fun day for my husband.
I highly can recommend John and his team if one is looking for reliable, professional, and compassionate care.
John has been gifted to my son Mr Reace Hoyle as a support worker in this last 6 months or more both my partner and myself has noticed very significant changes in my son’s wellbeing and wellness and confidence.
Let me briefly explain.
Reace is residing at present in our Granny flat for the last say 8-9 months.
We on occasions would have family/friends over for BBQ etc.
Now normally Reace would be very quiet and dismiss himself with no recognition and simply slip away into the night, before anyone had time to notice Reace’s absence.
Nowadays not always but much more than prior Reace actually engages much more freely and has open ended conversations.
I personally attribute the changes in these key areas of Reace’s life to be that of John and Cura Care.
The evidence I see as a Father sometimes forward 3 steps then back one step.
Nevertheless, the changes I personally have witnessed only really started after John’s commitment to support Reace and listen to him and understand him.
I have since asked NDIS to increase John time with Reace to 3 days a week.
We are still awaiting their responses to Reace’s package.
How much is attributed to Cura Care and John?
All I know is Reace’s self-esteem and growth and situational awareness is very much evident than prior to Cura Care and John becoming an integral part of Mr Reace Hoyle’s life today.
Thank you for all your insight and Inspiration you show Reace, it is noticeable.
